Parallelity_after_JAM
This game was developed in a team with... during JAM section with topis Authenticity. https://propotato.itch.io/parallelity
Authenticity is rooted in the environment in which it is located. The fact that the grass is green and the sky is blue comes from the fact that we are on Earth, in our environment, in the history that the Earth has experienced. In this game, we played with the idea of different, parallel worlds, for which different rules may apply than those we have experienced in games. The arrow to the right does not always mean running forward. The main idea of this game has become a change of environment, which disrupts the authenticity of experienced, basic game mechanics.
Story-wise, the game captures the battle of wizards trying to stop the grey wizard by knocking him out of the world with their fireballs. You are the grey wizard and you defend yourself by dodging fireballs and sending out your own fireballs, which you use to shoot down the dangerous ones. As a proper wizard, you need mana to cast spells. Just like life, you recharge in a classic way - by drinking a potion (button 1, 2, 3, 4 or A, B, X, Y on the gamepad). However, battle wizards are not just cutters and they nicely complicate your last seconds of life. With their magic, they move you to different parallel worlds. Here, the known rules of the world no longer apply. Water is no longer water, poison is not poison, and a potion is not a potion. Even movement becomes difficult for you and more and more fireballs are rushing to erase your existence in this world. How long can you withstand them? Will you survive their attack?
You know - THOSE FREAKIN FIREBALLS!!!!!! :DDDDD
